ITALIAN
SAUSAGE CHILI
1 Lb. Uncle Charley's
Hot Italian Sausage
1 small Onion, minced
1 T. Chili powder
2-16 oz Cans Red Kidney beans
1-12 oz. Can or Bottled Beer
1 Jar Uncle Charley's tomato sauce with peppers & onions
1-4oz, can chopped mild green chilies
¼ t. dried Oregano Leaves
1 oz+ Container Sour Cream
3 oz (3/4 cup) Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese, shredded
Remove sausage
from casing. Cook sausage, onion, and chili powder stirring
to break up sausage, until sausage is browned and onion is
tender
Add beans with
liquid, beer, sauce, chilies, and oregano leaves. Heat to
boiling.
Reduce heat to low, simmer 15 min, stirring occasionally.
To serve, spoon
chili into 6 bowls. Spoon sour cream over chili,
Sprinkle with cheese.
